New Year, New Me

I’m sure this has been overused already this year, and every other year previously. I’ve never truly taken the New Year Resolutions too seriously, I mean, aren’t they made just to be broken? I’ve tried, many times before, to stick to my resolutions. Lose weight, eat healthier, exercise more & so on. But they never stick, somewhere along the line, I realise I’ve put too much pressure on myself & I flop. I fail. I give up. It seems almost inevitable.
This year I hope to be different. I’ve not written my resolutions as such, I have a plan of who I want to be this year & I am taking steps towards becoming that person. This began early last year, roughly around March time. I joined Slimming World & lost some weight, I began my own business again (Pet Carer) & took on some part time work as a receptionist, & my husband & I reconnected.
I’ve never been much of a blogger, not really for anything more than personal use & that probably shows in my writing style. I am hoping to get better, with practice I am sure to improve.
This blog will be about many things in my life. My husband, my house, my diet, maybe even my children when they come along.
That’s it for now, this was mostly a hello. Maybe I’ll see you again soon!
